Christophe Von Hohenberg, Erwin Olaf and Steve Sabella are the protagonists of the collective exhibition FOTOcamere at the Metroquadro gallery.

The artists’ photographs, arranged in the three different gallery spaces, tell their vision of individual and collective freedom and the theme of social identity.

Christophe Von Hohenberg, with his reportage: The Day The Factory Died, presents us with a photographic memorial of Andy Warhol’s death, the mourning of an era that would later have to emancipate itself from the genius figure of the artist and what he represented.

In Erwin Olaf’s photographic series Hope, Grief, Rain and Hotel, the desire for disinhibition and a break with social hypocrisy are captured in a private dimension, within our homes, where the oppression exerted by society is overcome by transgression, eroticism and provocation.

With his recent series, including On Earth and Everland, Steve Sabella reaches the ultimate act, the escape to a new, imaginary world he has reconstructed, where he finally feels he belongs, far from the complex and claustrophobic reality.
